The Leica M camera system is, in my opinion, the only camera system that is fast enough to get shots like this. I saw the woman and her dog, the dog jumped, and because I had my camera pre-focused and with the correct f-stop and exposure time (I always do so when leaving the house) I was able to catch the dog in mid-air before he got back on the pavement.

Why I use a Leica:
The Leica M system is a very intuitive and easy system once you’re used to it. My favourite is the Leica M3 because it has nothing distracting you from the shot you’re about to take and it forces you to guess the correct exposure while you walk around waiting for your shot. This photo was taken with a Leica M6 and a 50mm Noctilux lens that happened to be on my camera that day.
