This shot was taken in front of the Macy’s San Francisco and it took me a while to get this shot, because there were many people who passed by me and tried to stop whenever I wanted to take a photo, but that was not what I wanted. I wanted the real moment, the right person and I thought the pictures there as a background was really nice to be shot too. This shot just made me love Leica more, it had a soul in it. I dont mind to print this one huge to be a poster in my place, I love the tone and feeling.
Shot with a Leica M6 classic, and the Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 lens.
Why I use a Leica:
I don’t have the exact reason why I shoot with Leica. I just love whenever I grab it and put my eyes in the viewfinder, and press the soft shutter to catch the moment. It has a classic soul in it. Also, it’s nice to carry around rather than big DSLR that I have used for long time. This camera makes me think more before I shoot anything, not only because it is a film camera but because it is Leica. I need to create something nice, like an art piece from it, it wants me to.

I love the shot. Was this taken with the M6? I hope so. I see that the beloved M6 lives on creating beautiful art! It warms my heart to see that!
Thanks F P K Photo. Yes this was taken by my classic M6. This camera really asked me to create art.
It’s not an original idea but it works here very well indeed!
Thanks, El Inglés. Wish I can have my original idea soon. :-)
