I took it from the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hill’s building when it was gently twilight time. It was the time when both brightness was fresh and it could be impressed by the dark sky and the town lights. So I turned my Noctilux to a woman who looked at that sight. I love her silhouette and the twilight blue!

Shot with a Leica M6 and Noctilux-M 1:1/50 (E60) + Kodak 100

Why I use a Leica:
I really enjoy Leica shooting in my life. Leica keeps their traditional style which is the history of 35mm camera and I prefer the optical performance and the style! Japanese cameras are highly efficient but I don’t like the hasty design. So I prefer Leica style and I use some Leica cameras and a lot of Leica lenses. And now, the Noctilux is my favorite lens which creates a lot of dramatic scene in my pictures. Last, I’ve just got a M9! So I’m trying to create photographs again!

Beautiful shot! Was the lens wide open?

Thank you for the comment Jon!
Yes, the lens was wide open. I always put the index on F1.0 with my Noctilux. So I really enjoy the short DOF!
