Days off work are few and far between for me now and days. When those days come around I typically take my bike and my Leica D-Lux 4 around with me and go get lost in the boroughs of New York City. This picture was taken in early November of this year at Central Park. I moved into the city around a year ago from Florida and those first few months I spent a lot of time in the park looking up at this view just trying to make sense of it all.
Equiptment used: Leica D-Lux 4 f/8 @ 1/160 sec.
Why I use a Leica:
I use Leica because you get what you pay for. Cameras these days are more of a gadget rather than a tool. The larger brand cameras have lost their soul. Leica keeps the same formula from their old cameras and it continues to deliver some of the finest images to date. Simple controls and dials allows me to focus more on my image rather than the camera.
