This shot was made after a sunset. We just were strolling and my girlfriend Ksenia was thoughtful and peaceful. My M6 helped me to catch the moment and save the memory of the beautiful evening we spend together.
Shot with a Leica M6 and the Leitz Summilux 50mm pre-ASPH, Konica Centuria Chrome 200.
Why I use a Leica:
I shoot with an analogue M6. A Leica rangefinder camera is the ideal tool that helps me to catch fleeting mooda or a slipping smile, while it never intervenes in the relationship between me and my model. Shooting with the Leica is both ardent passion and breathtaking game. You just can’t stop photographing holding an elegant M in your hands. And, of course, Leica M system makes the best lenses ever. Among them one can find anything he/she wants – legendary classical lenses of the 50s on the one hand, or state-of-the-art aspherical lenses with incredible performance on the other.
Leica is the pure medium between the objective world and the artist.
