Honduran farmer Martir Lopez fans himself with his hat on a hot day in rural Honduras.
Shot with a Leica M7 and the 50mm Noctilux f/1.0. TMax 400 film
Why I use a Leica:
I’ve been using Leica cameras and lenses for more than 30 years to document families in developing countries. I use Leicas because they are unobtrusive, quite, durable and wonderful for low-light photography. I used film Leicas (M3, M4, M6, and M7) until the M8 came out and now I use two M8s and one M9 with all of my old Leica lenses.

Lovely shot, Tina – it captures an “ordinary” moment in an extraordinary way – the chicken provides essential contextual information.
Also, technically superb.
