I like this shot it a lot and my enjoyment of using the Leica M2 made it possible. The jewelery this man was wearing caught my eye and seemingly out of nowhere I came down low and took his photo. It was shot candidly and quickly focused at f1.4 with a 50mm lens on the end of my M2.
Why I use a Leica:
I shoot with a Leica due to the ergonomics and feel of the cameras. The M2 fits perfectly into my hands and we are soon intergrated as one tool. I love the simplicity of this camera. The lack of a meter, the non cluttered framelines. It all allows for the perfect pace of shooting where I am no longer conscious of the camera infront of me. The onus is on me to make the correct exposure while the camera is simply the window into a better world.

Amazing! This guy looks gangsta. How could you have focused on him without him noticing, then later going after you?
