I’ve been driving by this scene for a couple of years. Used to be filled just with the bar banners and the church. When the divorce in a day billboard went up I finally had to take the shot.
The shot was taken with my D-Lux 4 at f4, 1/250th of a second at ISO 80.
Why I use a Leica:
I’ve wanted a Leica since I was a boy way back in the 60s. Never could quite afford one. Stopped shooting for many years while raising my family and just started shooting again with the advent of Camera Raw. Own a Canon 40D also, but desire for a walk around camera led me back to Leica and the D-Lux 4. In researching a small everyday camera I was reminded of the phenomenal quality of their lenses and the overall workmanship of their cameras.
