There is an elderly woman who lives up the street that sits out in front of her house. I often pass by when she is not there but her chairs are. Sometimes there is one chair other times two and I find myself compelled to document the movement of the chairs.
I shoot with a M8, CV 40mm, CV 75mm or a Zeiss 25mm mostly, but sometimes a D-Lux 4. Coming from a fine arts background and using Adobe Photoshop these images are usually produced from multiple images on layers.
Why I use a Leica:
Leica produces the highest quality files and is a pleasure to shoot with. It is simple to use, without all the mind boggling menus and settings of SLRs. Leica simply put has brought the joy and excitement back to photography.

i find it hard to be appreciative of imagery created in photoshop that is then presented as a photograph. I understand and accept the concept, it’s just not my cup of tea and while I find the images interesting, I prefer “in the blink of an eye”.
Although my personal sentiments echo those of Richard, I understand that each exposure can be as much the start of the creative process as the end. These are very nice and compelling examples of their type.
It is a pleasure to see another Leica person using color.
Thanks Ned
Richard and El, I appreciate your comments and feel that Photoshop is just a digital dark room, without the chemicals. Where my approach in this work is similar to either multiple exposures or double exposures, exposing/developing two negatives on one sheet of paper.
