One of my main reasons I love shooting Leicas is the vast choice of lenses, soft and glowing or sharp and contrasty and everything inbetween. The cameras seem to disappear when you shoot with them, people don’t worry about it as it looks so unassuming and not threatening, unlike a heavy and long lensed DSLR in the face.
I have just acquired the 5cm f1.5 Summarit and have fallen in love with it’s soft and glowing rendering of a scene. The balloons capturing the fairylight background just seemed to shout ” shoot me wide open!”
Shot with my M6 and Summarit 50mm f/1.5 and 60th sec.
