The prize, worth about $825, will be awarded to one of our followers when we either have 5000 3000 followers on Twitter, or 6000 4000 followers on Twitter and Facebook combined – which ever comes first. (That means, if everyone who follows us on Twitter also follows us on Facebook, we will only need 3000 2000 followers before the prize is awarded.)

Why?
On Tuesday the 17th of November, we received quite a large donation from one of our readers. He liked our site so much that he wanted to make sure we stayed “on the air” for a long time. After much consideration, we decided to use the donation to give something back to our readers. Instead of using it on advertisement, we want to go the “word of mouth” route which we feel is much more effective in promoting this kind of site.

Rules

The giveaway is open to any eligible person residing in a country where this kind of lottery is not prohibited or otherwise unlawful. Only entrants over the age of 18 will be eligible for the prize. Failure to observe these requirements will mean that any potential winner is invalid and any prize awarded will be forfeited. Any person involved with leicashots.com (not included the featured photographers), and their families, are excluded from entry.

The winner will be drawn at random using automated software, and he/she will, as far as possible, be notified by e-mail or personal message on Twitter/Facebook. The winner will be announced on leicashots.com within 14 days of the date prize draw. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, we reserve the right to re-draw another winner.
