Your shots here?

Would you like to have your LeicaShot(s) featured on these pages?
That can easily be arranged!

Drop us a line at post@leicashots.com with the shots of your choice attached (or a link to the picture) together with a few words about the shot, and your reason(s) for shooting with a Leica. Don’t forget to include a link to your website and/or Flickr photostream. Take a look what our previous featured photographers have done for inspiration.

In a little while we’ll get back to you with a timeframe in which your LeicaShot will appear on the site.

Now isn’t that a good deal? We did mention it’s free, right? Well, it is!

What information we need

  1. The photograph(s). Either a link to it, or as an attachment in an email to post@leicashots.com. About 1000px wide will be perfect. (if you get an error message from our server when sending a mail with an attachment, please use our gmail account instead: leicashots@gmail.com)
NEW: You may submit up to five (5) photos. Please indicate which one you want to be the “main” shot, used on the front page.
  2. Some text about the photograph. Tell us why it’s a special shot to you. Doesn’t have to be your best shot ever, but it should have some meaning to you. A picture you always get back to.
NEW: The text should be about your “main” shot, unless all the images you submit is in a series of shots, or connected otherwise.
  3. A little info about what equipment you used to shoot the picture. M3? M8.2? Summilux? Elmarit? 50mm? f/1.4? Just the basic facts.
  4. A few words about why you use a Leica, and what you feel is special about it.
  5. OR: Your best photography tip.
  6. (Optional) A link to your personal web site, Flickr photostream or anyplace else our visitors can see more of your work.
  7. (Optional) Where in the world you live and shoot.

What is LeicaShots?

In the hands of such profiled photographers as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Annie Leibovitz, the Leica rangefinders produce incredible works of art.

But what about the happy amateurs and unknown professionals? LeicaShots aims to show some of the best pictures from the thousands of unknown Leica shooters worldwide. They get a chance to tell their stories behind the pictures, as well as why they choose a Leica as their trusted companion.
